This is a project from the engineering department of a chemical company. They are loading products from a bulk bag into a hopper, but the discharge from the hopper is unstable... It has become a rat hole, and they have tried using air knockers and vibrators, but with no effect... They mentioned that they usually tap it down with a bar. We proposed a solution using a controller with four solenoid valves, sequentially turning on the air to two blow discs at four locations. They decided to implement the "blow discs," and the results were as expected, very good.
